Madrinas para Latinas believes that every young woman has the potential to transform her life for the better.

Madrinas para Latinas cree que cada jovencita tiene el potencial de transformar su vida para bien.

Madrinas para Latinas believes in its volunteers and collaborators'; goodness, empathy, compassion, enthusiasm, excellence and mentoring hability.

Madrinas para latinas cree en la bondad, empatía, compasión, entusiasmo, excelencia y habilidad de mentoría de sus voluntarios y colaboradores.

SHORT & LONG TERM GOALS-METAS A CORTO & LARGO PLAZO

Foster a bond between Madrina and Latina, based on mutual respect, affection, and admiration.
Create an environment of hope and success for young Latinas who aspire to become a source of pride for their families and our communities.
Support every single SLO County Latina facing adversity and ignite them to pursue their dreams.
Beyond offering inspiration, resources, motivation; we wish to cover mental health, prevention unwanted pregnancies, school success, juvenile delinquency issues; through professional services.
We will be working hand to hand with their families to get more involvement, and seek parental support.
Support Latinas to pursue that career of their choice.
Support Latinas in their quest to obtain an education and enter the workforce.
We expect educational institutions and public/private employers, to take into account participation of young Latinas in the programs offered by Madrinas para Latinas.
We support our LGBTQ+ Community and will also be supporting non-binary youth.

ESPAÑOL

Fomentar un vínculo entre Madrina y Latina, basada en un mutuo respeto, afecto y admiración.
Crear un ambiente de esperanza y éxito para las jóvenes Latinas que aspiren convertirse en fuente de orgullo para sus familias y comunidades.
Apoyar a cada Latina del Condado de San Luis Obispo que encara alguna adversidad y encender en ellas el deseo de seguir sus sueños.
Más allá de ofrecer inspiración, recursos, motivación; deseamos cubrir asuntos relacionados con salud mental, precención embarazos no deseados, éxito escolar, delincuencia juvenil; a través de servicios profesionales.
Estaremos trabajando mano a mano con sus familias para obtener mayor envolvimiento y lograr apoyo de los padres.
Apoyar a Latinas a ejercer la carrera que ellas escogieron.
Apoyar a Latinas en su camino a obtener una educación y entrar a la fuerza de trabajo.
Esperamos que instituciones educativas y empleadores públicos y privados, tomen en cuenta la participación de las jóvenes Latinas en programas ofrecidos por Madrinas para Latinas.
Apoyaremos a nuestra Comunidad LGBTQ+ y también a la juventud no binaria.
